Percent Composistion Cartoon
This storyboard does not have a description.
Mr. Thomas, how do you calculate percent composition by mass?
% H: mass of H x 100% = 2.016 x 100% = 11.19% molar mass 18.016% O: mass of O x 100% = 16.000 x 100% = 88.81% molar mass 18.016When you add the percentages together, you should always get 100.
In order to evaluate the percent composition, you have to calculate the percentages of each element in the compound. Here is an example of hydrogen and oxygen on the board.
Thank you Mr. Thomas. Now I think I can pass this test.
