I'm having a problem trying to find an iPhone X for sale. Every time I look up "iPhone X retailer near me," a sketchy looking Apple website pops up.
The Sketchy Website. By Dalton
After looking more at the website, I saw that the site domain was a .exe. And the lock in the browser that shows that the website you are on is a secure website was unlocked, showing me that this website is trying to do something it should not be doing.
When I was out having lunch with my friend Tecwin, I told him about the problem I was having. I showed him the search results that I was getting. He responded saying:
You should try refining your search by adding site:com, because that will get rid of any suspicious domains like .exe.
When I came home I used my friends advice. I refined my search by being site specific. And it worked! When I did my next search I got non-shady websites like Apple's official website. Not like those disgusting fake websites
Always remember to refine your search by being domain specific.
