  • And a Federalist supports a system of government in which several states unite under a central authority
  • Hi, I am James Madison and I am a Federalist.
  • Hello, I am Patrick Henry and I am an Anti-Federalist.
  • And an Anti-Federalist is someone that opposes the adoption of the U.S. Constitution.
  • I support the ratification of the U.S. Constitution.
  • I do not support the ratification of the U.S. Constitution.
  • The Constitution will establish a strong, central government.
  • The U.S constitution is fine the way it is.
  • We believe if the constitution is not ratified, in the coming years we are worried about too much democracy.
  • If the constitution is ratified we fear that we will head down the political road of corruption.
  • We fear that if we ratify the constitution, the states would have too much power.
  • We believe that democracy should be held back.
  • We fear that if we ratify the constitution the court system of the national government would have more power than local courts
  • We fear that the ratification will give the president too much power.
  • Well lets agree on one thing. The future of the nation was at stake in the contest over the Constitution.
