Most importantly, being late shows you and your respect for other people. It tells them you might think your time is more important than theirs.
It shows disrespect and disregard, and it tells the other person you’re unreliable and careless.
And so is choosing to be organised.
It tells others that you’re trustworthy, considerate, and prepared. You’re showing them they are important to you .
Being on time is an simple way to impress others, and make yourself have a good rep. Why wouldn't you do it?
Imagine youself as a sales person on a sales call. You being on time makes your client feel valued and appreciative, which could make them more open to your sales pitch.

Being late takes a toll on your life. Always running behind can effect you in all areas of life. It results in embarrassment and forces you to come up with excuses for why you're late, putting a strain on your honesty.
