  • Retreat!
  • We won the battle of Orleans! 
  • We won!!
  • AHHHH!
  • These new cannons are proving very effective.  We might win the battle of Castillon.  
  • Indeed!!!
  • FIRE!!!
  • Parliment has regained its right to tax and fund wars.
  • Your Majesty, we now are trading with many more countries around us.
  • Plague cases are now slowing, sir!!!!
  •  in 1429.The siege of Orleans was the turning point for the French. Lead by Joan of Arc, the french finally won an battle in 1429.
  • The battle of Castillon was a huge success for the French, they developed new battle tactics and updated their cannon system. The new cannons had more power and could take down attacking knights and also penetrate through English castle walls.
  • As Nationalism grew and became more popular around England, Parliament gained the power to tax people and fund for war and battle. England began trading with many more countries around them, and cases of the plague (Black Death) began to start ceasing. This  all happened after the Hundred years' war and was known as the Power of the Purse.
