Some would say “new year, new beginnings” but who would have thought 2020 would start this way? January 30 this year, DOH announced the first-ever case of sars like-coronavirus in the country. This new coronavirus (COVID-19) is a disease that targets the respiratory system.
According to WHO, people who are infected may experience symptoms like dry cough, fever, sore throat, runny nose, back pains, and aches all over the body.
Although there is a higher chance of anyone to survive this disease, things would be different for people with underlying medical problems, such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease, chronic respiratory disease, cancer, and so on.
COVID-19 disease is the biggest challenge, the world is facing. Newly infected cases are being announced every day, the death tolls are continuously increasing, and many people are suffering in order to survive.
But the question is, How can we survive this pandemic?
