  • Nooo mom! I'm scared! What is a vaccination and why do we need it?
  • The doctor will explain the importance of vaccinations and why everyone needs to get them.
  • Mommy I gotta potty!
  • Ms. Brunson, you're family is checked in. Please have a seat until the doctor is ready.
  • I have a funny feeling this is going to be painful

  • YES! Found a piece of gum on the floor.
  • I'M SCARED!
  • Hello! Follow me Brunson family, Dr. King is ready to see you now.
  • This is their first time getting vaccines...so he's a little nervous.
  • Can we go to the park?
  • Can we please do this another day?
  • Don't worry come on back and Dr. King will tell you all about vaccines before he gives your first one
  • I wonder how high is this jump
  • Go ahead and ask your question!
  • So what are vaccinations Dr. King and how do they work?
  • A vaccine contains a killed or weakened part of a disease that is responsible for infection. The vaccine will give you a little bit of sickness, but it will prevent you from getting it.
  • LENNOX!
  • Yay lollipop!
  • Alright Dr. King, I trust you but do you have cherry lollipops?
  • So before I give you the vaccination for influenza, I'll show you this cool diagram of the process to make you feel more comfortable AND just think you'll get a lollipop once its all done!
