In the story, the main character has a hard time distinguishing her family's Korean culture and her new found adapted American culture.
Then why did you bring us to America if you didn't want us to be American?
You Korean, you always be Korean. Our people so good.
When she visited China and Vietnam, she was confused on what culture she suppose to be in. But after hearing stories of her Korean culture she has now accepted her old Korean culture.
I told you, we Koreans can do anything and will do anything to preserve our culture and language. Not even the revolution destroyed our community.
I've have finally come to peace with who I am, I rejected and the future I will passionately embrace.
By the end of the story, the main character has now appreciated the history of her Korean culture.
In my family, we usually are very thankful for the stuff we have so my family has the habit of praying before every meal and for special occasions like Christmas or Thanksgiving.
This tradition doesn't effect the genders because we believe we should be thankful for the things God has given us and the opportunity that he has given us as well
You need to marry a beautiful hispanic lady, that will treat you right and will take care of your future children.
My concept of marriage is to be with a person that is worth being with, loyal and kind. My family's concept in marriage is to be successful so that Hispanic females can be in our family tree.
