oh... well that's lame. What does that even mean?
Well each letter stands for something. The C is for Capital Adequacy, The A is for Asset Quality, The M is for Management, the E is for Earnings, the L is for liquidity, and the S for Sensitivity.
It is used to measure risk and financial stability of a bank. It determines the banks overall conditions in the areas of financial, managerial and operational aspects. Rating number ! being the worst rating and rating 5 being the best.
