In 1789 France was divided into 3 estates. The first was made up of clergy, the second of nobles, the third one of the vast population.
Storming of Bastille
The Estates General is the legislative body made up of representatives of the three estates in pre revolutionary France.
The Tennis court oath was with people from all the estates coming together and all agreeing on the same thing.
In 1789 a group of French soldiers charged a Bastille asking for weapons, the general refused and opened fire on them, many died but they were able to barge in and clam victory.
The French revolution began in 1789. The phases of the revolutionary war were divided into 2 phases, the National Assembly and the Radical phase. The national phases turned France into a constitutional monarchy, and the radical phase, full of violence, led to the end of monarchy and a reign of terror
