I'm your host Mr. Cellisky and I'd like to welcome you to the world summit on the evolution of the atmosphere or gas surrounding Earth. Today we will present to you a detailed time line of Earths atmosphere from 4.5 BYA to 350 MYA.
Time line of the atmosphere
CO2
When the Earth formed 4.5 BYA the surface had just barely cooled down enough for there to be an atmosphere of hydrogen sulfide, methane, and up to 200 times as much carbon dioxide as today. There was little to no oxygen(less than 1%) as well.

These cyanobacteria used photosynthesis, making oxygen from CO2 water and sun, to thrive. They are what we call aerobic or oxygen breathing creatures.
Around 2.7 billion years ago a bluish-green microscopic organism called cyanobacteria began to thrive in Earth’s oceans. They produce oxygen gas from carbon dioxide. They produced enough O that it was 1% of today's atmospheric oxygen.
