That explains chain reactions well but why do they produce so much energy?
My lad, the answer to that is e=mc2 which is the formula of relativity between mass and energy.
e is the amount of energy produced when you multiply m, the mass of the object in this case uranium by the speed of light squared. this means that even a small amount of fuel can create ton of energy
Now why did you want to learn about this anyways?
