  • the french revolution lasted 10 years from 1789 1799. It started on july the 14th, 1789 when revolutionaries stormed a prision named the bastille. the french revolution was ended on 1799, when general napoleon overthrew the revolutionary government and established the french consultate.
  • Many factors played a role in the french revolution such as: growing hate among lower classes, new ideas about government, The french citizens also suffered from ecomonic problems. The french experienced weak leadership and a huge lack of food was there.
  • at the Estates-general meeting, The clergy and Nobles expected to dominate. Under the rules, each estate's delegates met in a sperate hall to vote, and each estate was provided one vote. The two privileged estates could always outvote the Third estate.
