  • 2. Rising Action
  • Brother, I can't keep up! Please don't leave me alone!
  • 3. Climax
  • Doodle is born at his home in North Carolina in the early 1900's. Doodle is born with limits, he cannot walk. He also cannot be too hot, too cold, too excited or too overworked.
  • 4. Falling Action
  • Doodle?
  • The brother pushes Doodle's limits by forcing him to learn how to walk, run and swim. Doodle was supposed to never be able to do these things. In this scene the brother is forcing him to run and keep up with him.
  • 5. Resolution
  • Doodle cannot keep up with his brother in the storm, so the brother leaves Doodle alone and runs away from him.
  • 6. Conflict
  • The brother begins to feel bad and he walks back to find Doodle. He finds him lying beside the tree. The brother then begins going over to him.
  • The brother realizes that Doodle is dead and he becomes extremely upset. The brother hovers over Doodle and covers him up from the rain. The brother now regrets his actions and the way he treated Doodle.
  • The conflict shown here is Man v.s Nature. This is Doodle v.s nature. This is Doodle v.s nature because Doodle can't keep up with his brother due to the storm and his disabilities.
