  • What was World War 2? World war 2 was a collection of many regional conflicts that all interacted with each other strategically and politically.
  • Where did World War 2 take place? World war 2 was a global war fought in many places across the globe (hince "World" War) Although most of the combat was fought in Europe,east Asia,and islands in the Pacific ocean. But Russia and the United States kept relatively far from battle but still fought 
  • Who was involved? Our allies where The United Kingdom which was led by Winston Churchill at the time and ourselves led by Franklin Roosevelt at the time  Our enemies were Japan led by Hideki Tojo at the time and Germany  led by Adolf Hitler at the time Russia and the soviet union were led by Joseph Stalin,but they held different position,it was confusing
  • When did World War 2 begin? It is thought to have began at three different date by many different people,in order these dates would be: 1931,July 7th 1937,and September 1st for different  reasons,for example in some people think it began on september 1st 1939 because that's when germony and russia invaded poland,and July 7th 1937,Japan invaded China. World War 2 officially ended in april of 1952 when the treaty of San Francisco went into action 
  • Why did World War 2 take place? World war 2 was Fought because france and Britain thought that the soviet union might enter the war on the side of Germany and drove the soviet union out of the league of nations. 
  • Legacies of the war Human suffering stands out as the key legacy of World War 2, but the degree of human suffering experienced in WW2 was unmatched in history. During the war, carpet bombing campaigns targeted civilian targets as much as military ones, while starvation and disease claimed a stunning number of lives. Atrocities also added misery; the Holocaust alone killed 11 million people, half of which were Jews.
