Elizabeth learned not to be impulsive and ignorant towards others. She did not understand that Alessio lost all his loved ones because of their relationship. She made a decision to kill her own family, just for Alessio to say he still did not want to be with her. Elizabeth learned that her impulsiveness and ignorance had left her with no one.

  • Elizabeth Charles, the princess of Janaria, falls in love with a peasant boy named Alessio. They try to marry in secret, only their closet friends allowed to come, because it is forbidden for princesses to marry someone without royal blood.
  • Peripeteia
  • A knight hired to spy on Elizabeth witnesses the wedding, and tells the king and queen who are outraged.
  • Hamartia
  • With those news, the King and Queen send an assassin to kill all of Alessio's family.
  • Downfall
  • Elizabeth and Alessio meet in the woods, as they usually do. Alessio tells her what had been done to his family, and he knew who had done it as well. With this, he tells her he can barely stand to look at her, let alone be with her. With that, she was heartbroken.
  • Angered by her parents actions, Elizabeth poisons her family and kills them. She hopes that with this, Alessio will finally want to reunite with her.
  • Once more, Elizabeth tries to reconcile with Alessio, but again Alessio turns her down. Elizabeth was angered that she had killed her family for him, but mostly that now she no one left. With this, she drank the same poison she had given to her parents the day before.
