CALL TO ADVENTURE
REFUSAL OF THE CALL
What if I mess up on stage? I don't think I should this.
Hello! Is anyone there?
First, I woke up the same time I do every day and took a shower, ate breakfast, rested for awhile, and occasionally helped around the house. After some time had passed, my teacher had called and told me that I would be doing a dance competition today.
MEETING WITH THE MENTOR
It's alright, you'll do fine, trust me!
After getting the call, I began to quickly get ready in the outfit for the performance, and put on the jewelry, as Indian classical dance required many embellishments. After I finished getting ready, my father dropped my sister and I at the dance venue
CROSSING THE THRESHOLD
When I got there and saw the stage, my nerves immediately came acting up, and I believed that I couldn’t do it. But then, my teacher came out and began to talk with me.
TESTS / ALLIES / ENEMIES
The next performer is up! Get ready!
I agree, it will probably be the best!
As I began to talk to my teacher, I realize that I was able to do it and I decided that I was going to try my best. Happy with teacher’s words, I walked backstage to practice a little longer.
You're right! I can do this! Thanks for the words!
I calmed my nerves and I practiced backstage for a while until one of the teachers said that I would performing next. I nodded my head and drank a little water to calm myself.
Then, a few friends of mine noticed I was there and they walked toward me and gave me words of support, telling me that I was able to perform. Then my teacher walked toward me and told me that I was performing now.
Hi! Do great, okay? I'm sure you'll do amazing!
Ah, thank you! I appreciate so much! I won't disappoint!
