My lady is dead!
ROMEO IS DEAD!
"Give me a torch
ACT 4, SCENE 5: "Lady! lady! lady! Alas, alas! Help, help! my lady is dead! O well-a-day that ever i was born! Some aqua vitae,ho! My lord, my lady!" This is an example of dramatic irony because Juliet is found dead when in reality she is just in a deep sleep,
ACT 3, SCENE 5: "O god , I have an ill-divining soul! Me think I see thee, now thou art below, As one dead in the bottom of a tomb: either my eyesight fails, or thou look'st pale." What is foreshadowed is Romeo's death.
ACT 1, SCENE 5: "Give me a torch, I am not for this ambling. Being but heavy, i will bear this light." This an example of a pun because Romeo is feeling heavy meaning he's either sad or upset the pun being "light".
