Storyboard Text

  • Why does she think she is better than me and why does she treat me like a little kid?
  • Where are you going?
  • Do you want a ride on the pony?
  • Sure!
  • I am going to Russian Peters to borrow a spade Ambrosch.
  • After we go to Russian Peters we should stop at prairie-dog-town.
  •  These are two main characters of the story and their names are Antonia and Jim.
  • They went to prairie-dog-town and examined the dogs' holes for a while.
  • Jim feels the need to prove himself to Antonia, that he is more superior than her. He also needs to prove that he is not a little kid and he doesn't like being treated as one.
  • AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!
  • Antonia was about to go to Russian Peters by foot but Jim caught her before she left and they rode the pony.
  • Look, Tony, that is his poison.
  • They went to prairie-dog-town and examined the underground, dogs' holes for a while.
  •  Meanwhile, Jim was still looking at prairie-dog holes and Antonia saw a huge snake and she screamed.
  • Jim ran over and he killed it. Antonia was in disbelief.
