  • Author introduces Ebenezer Scrooge. Author gives and show details on the personality of Scrooge my showing how he treats his nephew, lacks works of charity, and hate towards marriage.

  • The conflict of the story is about the way and attitude Scrooge feels or puts into his or others lives.
  • FALLING ACTION
  • "Young boy what day is it!"(excitement)
  • Marley visits Scrooge to give him a warning about the way he acts towards life and the way he treats others. Marley tells Scrooge about the ghost that will visit him and tells him if he doesn't change his ways he will be punished.
  • RESOLUTION
  • Pases house because he is nervous
  • Ghost of Christmas yet to come shows Scrooge what will become of him if he does not change his ways. The ghost shows Scrooge a mans grave that lays the body of "Ebenezer Scrooge". Scrooge will forever change after this showing of his grave.
  • Scrooge wakes up the next morning filled with joy as he is a changed man. Scrooge then looks out his window to then ask a young boy what day it is. The boy then states that it is Christmas Day which fed Scrooge's morning joy as the ghost have done everything in one night.
  • "Why it's Christmas Day"
  • Scrooge sticks to his promise of keeping the ghost's lessons within him. He later sends food to the Cratchit's home and then go to his nephew Fred's house for Christmas. He would later the next day give Bob Cratchit a raise.
