  • The most important step in working in the kitchen is washing your hands.
  • If you accidentally cut yourself while cooking, stop immediately and clean the wound and cover it before going back to cook.
  • When using a stove top, make sure the handles on the pan are pointed away from the edge.
  • When cutting your veggies, use a claw hand to make sure you don't cut yourself.
  • When there is a fire, make sure to use baking soda and smother it with a wet towel. Then, use a fire extinguisher.
  • When you finish with cooking and you have leftovers, make sure to refrigerate them.
