Netiquette is technically "the golden rule" of the internet, with so many people living, working, and playing in the same space. How do I know this? I actually don't know.
Remember that whether you are posting a comment, sending an email, or writing something on your blog, people can see what you have written. Like my owner who just got an email from one of his friends.
When you type in ALL CAPS, you think you're trying to emphasize on something, but in most cases, it is considered shouting and therefore, it is rude. When you type a whole paragraph in ALL CAPS, you may look illiterate or unintelligent to others. There are a few times when typing in ALL CAPS is kind of appropriate.
Do not send out emails that are unnecessary, or post questions on discussion boards on websites without looking up the answers yourself. There are a few questions to ask that haven't been answered already, even in the course material, or on the web at large. So be careful what you send.
Check your facts, and make sure the sources you choose are valid. Make sure you cite the sources as well. Before you send an email about raisins being made out of sun-dried grapes that have been left in the sun for 2 weeks and soaked in fructose corn syrup, check the facts, and make sure it is true.
