Theseus son of Aegeus, as well as king of Athens finds out about a war dealing with Crete, thus having him to praise to the Minos within Crete, by giving young Athens to be eaten in the Labyrinth
Tests and Allies, and The Ordeal
Instead of refusing the call he offers to accompany the Athens youth which are to be sent to Crete. In addition Aegeus acting like a who is worried for Theseus he makes Theseus promise to return home with white sails indicating he completed his mission.
The Reward/Road Back, Rescue, and Return
Theseus then Leaves Athens and eventually crossing the sea to the island known as Crete.
Resurrection, Change, Apotheosis
A women named Ariadne falls in love with Theseus and makes a decision to help him out of the suggestion Daedalus who created the Labyrinth. Ariadne then gives a sword along with a ball of thread to help guide him through he Labyrinth. Theseus then fights and kills the Minotaur and uses the ball of thread to guide him out of the Labyrinth.
After Theseus kills the Minotaur he rescues Ariadne and takes her to the boat that's heading to Greece. However the boat makes a stop at a island called Naxos where Ariadne is left behind. Theseus then returned only to find out that his father has died and he is the new King of Athens,
Theseus takes over the role his father once held the title of King of Athens.
