Muspell which is a place of light and heat, in the south, with the frozen cold ice of Niflheim a land of ice, frost wind, and rain from the north past the void keeping them apart named Ginnungagap.
Both of the sides met and the ice of Niflheim melted and Ymir formed. He had children giants
A cow also formed from the melting ice, It fed on the ice until a person popped out, his name was Buri. He was the first god. He eventually had grandsons named Odin, Villi, and Ve. They hated Ymir and had to do something about it.
Odin, Vili, and Ve killed Ymir. They killed him to Ginnungagap. Then they began to create the world from the Giants.
They shaped the earth from Ymir’s flesh and mountains from his unbroken bones; from his teeth and jaws and the fragments of his shattered bones they made the rocks, boulders and stones
The Brothers gathered sparks and glowing embers from Muspell. From these, they made the sun, moon and stars
The brothers then created nine worlds from Ymir's body. Yggdrasil, a giant ash tree, nourished the worlds with its roots. Known as the World Tree, Yggdrasil gave life to all that existed in the Norse universe.
