Storyboard Text

  • Henry VIII is born on June 28th, 1491 at the Palace of Placentia.
  • We must be married, therefore I am splitting from the church!
  • Anne Boleyn and Catherine Howard are executed.
  • King Henry VII dies in April, 1509. This allows Henry VIII to become king.
  • Catherine of Aragon and Anne of Cleves are divorced.
  • Katherine Parr lives past Henry VIII
  • Jane Seymore dies after childbirth.
  • In 1509 Henry VIII and Katherine of Aragon are married and Henry VIII is crowned King of England. Katherine later gives birth to many children, although only princess Mary survives.
  • He marries Anne Boleyn, causing problems with the church. He then splits from the church. This brings along the English reformation.
  • He then proceeds to have four more wives. Only one outlives him. Out of all six of his wives, Jane Seymour is his favorite.
  • King Henry VIII dies on January 28th, 1547 and is succeeded by his son, Edward VI. He is buried by his favorite wife, Jane Seymour.
