  • Samuel Adams and John Hancock were the founders of the secret society called The Sons of Liberty. The Sons of Liberty were a group of men who protested against taxes and fought for liberty.
  • I say we protest against the British taxes! We must act! We must fight for liberty!

  • To protest against the Tea Act imposed by the British Parliment Sam Adams organized the Boston Tea party. 
  • Remember, men, we are only after the tea! Do not damage anything else! We are just here to show the British that the Tea Act is wrong!
