Storyboard Text

  • The characters Brother, his parents, his Aunt, and his new born brother are introduced. Brother is exited because he is going to have a younger brother to do things with. The family feared that William wouldn't live very long and prepared for his death.
  • Rising Action
  • Brothers Mom tells him that his brother, who they named William Armstrong that he, "wasn't all there". She also told he wouldn't be able to do normal things and may not even be able to walk. This made Brother mad and he wanted to kill William but then he smiled and that told Brother he was, "all there".
  • Climax
  • After 5 years William still couldn't walk and Brother was not happy about that so he decided to teach him to walk so he could have a normal brother. Brother also decided to name him Doodle instead of William.
  • Resolution
  • Brother eventually show Doodles ability to walk to his parents and aunt. They were amazed and Doodles ability to walk got better as Brother taught him more and worked him harder.
  • Doodle and Brother go out into the woods and on the lake to paddle around awhile because Doodle was too tired to swim. On their way back Brother made Doodle paddle against to current back to land. They were trying to get back home when they got caught in a storm and had to run back then Doodle tripped and Brother left him behind
  • Brother went back to look for Doodle and found him laying down bleeding. Then Doodle died and Brother realized what he did was wrong.
