- After washing up, Odysseus tries to tell Penelope that it is him.

- Odysseus is nothing but a murderer, and we must catch him!
- Penelope tests Odysseus about his bed, in which she finds out it is him.

- Odysseus then explains to Penelope that he must finish his prophecy from Tiresias.

- Odysseus and his other men fight the families of the suitors, but Athena arrives to demand peace to fulfill Odysseus's prophecy. Odysseus accepts peace and the battle ends.
