Siddhartha was born in 563B.C. His father ruled a kingdom in what is now Nepal. When Buddha's father took him to a fortune teller, he was told that Buddha could become a king or a religious leader. Buddha's father wanted him to become a king.
Siddhartha wore garments of silk and never saw any poor or sick people. Buddha married and had a child. To other people he had everything but not to him.
There is a path of salvation or escape.
Siddhartha went out of the palace without any guards and he saw a man shrunken by disease, and many poor people. He stated that all of the joy and wealth had died inside him.
49 days, here we go!
The once protected prince searched for the truth about life. Siddhartha only lived on the food that strangers placed in his begging bowl.
The Gurus told Siddhartha that there was a path of salvation or escape out of the cycle of life.
Siddhartha sat under the tree that is known as the Bodhi tree. He sat for 49 days and meditated. In that period he saw his past lives. After meditation, he went back to teach the true meaning of life and awakening the world.
