The narrator was introduced to the Usher House and noticed how gloomy the house looked. HE studied the house thoroughly, he then spotted a crack along the side of the mansion. He then went up to the house to visit
He finds out the condtions of Lady Madeline and Roderick Usher. They both are very sick and are on their last limb. Roderick is extreamly sesitive to all of his senses. Whilst Lady Madeline suffers from a conditions that makes her body rigid during seizures
Roderick and the Narrator beleive that Lady Madeline passes and they both bury Lady Madeline and they both gloom in the recent death. The narrator does his best to raise the spirits of his best friend. However in the best of his attempts it was unsuccessful
Roderick and the narrator feel very awkward and feel something is very off. Lady Madeline then turns out to not be dead as she returned from the coffin underground. She collapsed upon Roderick and once upon landing both of the Ushers passed
After they both pass the house begins to grumble and shake. As the house began to crumble and fall the narrator runs from the house and hopes to live after this traumatic experience.
He escapes from the house but as he looks to the house it dissappeares into this orb of light and the House of Usher dissapears. The narrator runs into the woods hopefully to escape such horror
