- I am excited to finally be pretty. This means Peris and I can be together again. I wonder what will happen to Shay.
- Tally is brought in to receive the pretty surgery, she is finally 16.
- I'm sorry Tally, there seems to be an issue. I am going to need you to come with me.

- They then put Tally into a car. Tally is getting taken to Special Circumstances.
- Tally is upset, she is at Special Circumstances....she does not know what the people wants from her.
- Where am I? What are they doing with me?
- We are going to need your help. We know where your friends went. Go to the Smoke to help us destroy it.
- If you help us, you will become pretty... If you don't, you will not.
- All I want is to become pretty, to finally be best friends with Peris again. I cant betray my new friends and give away their home. They would die.
