  • What is energy?
  • Good job
  • Hmmm
  • Energy is the ability to do work.
  • Modern civilization is possible because people have learned how to change energy from one form to another
  • The different types of energy include thermal energy, radiant energy, chemical energy, nuclear energy , electrical energy, motion energy, sound energy, elastic energy and gravitational energy.
  • Gravitational potential energy and work done. ... When work is done energy is transferred to the object and it gains gravitational potential energy. If the object falls from that height, the same amount of work would have to be done by the force of gravity to bring it back to the Earth's surface.
  • Hmm that's great
  • Do you know that what are the forms of energy?
  • Do you know some examples of energy stores.
  • What is the transfer of energy?
  • In electromagnetic waves, energy is transferred through vibrations of electric and magnetic fields. In sound waves, energy is transferred through vibration of air particles or particles of a solid through which the sound travels.
  • Kinetic Energy. Energy is transferred from one object to another when a reaction takes place. Energy comes in many forms and can be transferred from one object to another as heat, light, or motion, to name a few.
  • Energy is transferred to an object by work when an external force displaces or deforms the object. ... While some of the energy transferred can end up stored as the kinetic energy of acquired velocity, the deformation of component objects results in stored elastic energy.
  • GRAVITATIONAL POTENTIALNUCLEAR
  • Heat is the transfer of thermal energy. Chemical energy is released from a substance, that substance is transferred into an entirely new substance. For example, when an explosive goes off, the chemical energy stored in it is transferred to the surroundings as thermal energy sound energy, and kinetic energy.
