Hirani! 'Amiy turiduk fi ghurfat altaeam, badat mustta'a. ( Hirani! Mom wants you in the dining room, she seemed upset)
'Ana quadim. (I'm coming.)
Laquad tuufiy waliduk! (Your father has died!)
Ma hu'amy alkhata? (What's wrong mom?)
This is Ronnie's penthouse. I know right! Its so nice. I absolutely love the view in the living room. Ronnie invited all of us to her place so we could talk about Jase. We always meet up at one of our houses when one of us has something important going on in their lives.
This is Hirani's little sister, Yamasai. Hirani says she's too young to wear a hijab yet so she can have her hair out when people are there, but I wonder how she would look with one on. She's 5 years old and is the cutest thing in the world to everyone except Hirani. But I understand, little siblings can be a pain in the neck.
Well at the moment neither me or the rest of Hirani's friends or family know about her father's death. And if your wondering what language they're speaking, it's Arabic. That's just one of the languages she speaks, like Urdu. But during the next few days a lot of things will change.
