Storyboard Text

  • Why were Spies and codes in World War 1 and 2 important.
  • Spies were very important, especially during this time period. Many spies were women and men. It was really hard to find a spy because they were either very sneaky or couldn't tell them apart from a regular person.
  • A spies main purpose was go gather Intel and information on the enemy. They walked around enemy territory and after they found information, they reported it to their government.
  • Thank you for the info.
  • MOVE OUT!
  • After the government received the information, they decide if they would trust them or not and make plans to attack the enemy during a time of war or anything where a spy is needed.
  • Codes were also very important. Codes are secret messages usually in a time of war. These were sent back and forth between certain sides of the war and used them so the enemy could not figure it out.
  • OOOH what's this?                                                              A secret letter ?
