  • First thing in the morning make sure to reset your pedometer to zero using the reset button.

  • Secure your pedometer to your waist band at 1 inch away from your hip bone towards your belly button. Check to see if your pedometer is working properly by taking 20 steps.
  • If your pedometer isn't accurately measuring your steps, relocate the pedometer to the center of the back of your waist line. Make sure that the device is right-side up.

  • End of Day 1...
  • At the end of each day log the number that appears on the screen of your pedometer. Repeat this each night for the next 6 days and bring the completed log back to class.
