Here is the jar and key. Make sure to never open it, or you'll be sorry.
Once upon a time, King Zeus gave Pandora a jar, and gave her husband, Epimetheus, the key. He said never to open it, and Pandora was curious as to why. Others rumoured that it was a punishment.
After that, Pandora was very curious what might be in the jar. She begged Epimetheus to let her open it, but he always said no.
Please, please, please can I have the key!?!?!
Please forgive me, dear wife, but no. Remember what King Zeus said?
One night, while Epimetheus was sleeping, Pandora stole the key and opened the box.
What have I done?
Out of the box flew all the troubles of the world: sickness, crime, war, envy, and more.
But the very last thing to fly out of the box, as Pandora sat there crying, was not as ugly as the others. In fact it was beautiful. It was Hope, which Zeus sent to keep people going when all the nasty things got them down.
