Hello, Scott. I am Lisa. I love writing and I am a communication major, so I am really looking forward to this class.
Hello, I so happy you decided to stop by and introduce yourself. I am looking forward to an amazing semester.
They went great. It was so easy to just walk downstaris because it was in my dorm. I really like our TA and I feel better about the class.
How did the office hours go?
Wow thats great I will have to go!
Lisa goes to the office hours and meets with her TA. She had a good experiance and feel more connected to him and the class.
Ben is curious how the office hours were, and Lisa explains they were great. She says it was super easy for her becuase it was in her dorm, but she explained the times and location changes to make it easier for students with different schedules.

Ben feels better about going to the office hours after talking with Lisa and decides to go.
I realized that having to rely on Mr. Smith to help us get points at the retreat made me trust him more.
Yeah, I agree. I feel like I could go up and approach him now with my school questions; he seems like a really nice and fun professor.
It is the day of the trust retreat. The students all gather outside where a plethora of activities are set up.
The students were put in teams and did activities with Mr. Smith getting to have fun and allowing him to understand who his students were. They played charades with Mr. Smith as the guesser. Whatever teams won got bonus points. Other things the class did with Mr. Smith were a one legged race, team building exercises like working together to get out of a giant human knot, and teams working with the professor to answer clues and be the first team to win the scavenger hunt. Josh, Sam, and the other students had a really fun time and got to see a different side of Mr. Smith.
The students and Mr. Smith, all got to see one another in a fun, exciting, environment and have learned a little bit more about one another. This connection allows for a deeper understanding of one another and builds a real relationship.
