Odysseus goes to the Underworld

- Alright, we've finally arrived in the Underworld!
- I just sacrificed the two goats. Now I need the ghosts to taste the goats' blood.
- Elpenor? How did you get here?
- Hi Odysseyus! I died after I fell off Circe's roof... haha
- Odysseus and his crew arrive at the Underworld, and they are about to enter.
- It is I, the Prophet. If you want to get home, you need to sacrifice an animal to Poseidon once you get to an island, because he still kind of hates you.
- Odysseus sacrifices two goats in order to speak to the ghosts.
- One more thing before you go, how do I see my mom down here?
- It's very simple, she just has to taste the blood of the goats you sacrificed earlier.
- After he sacrificed the goats, his dead crew member shows up and explains how he died.
- Oh my goodness, mother! I've missed you so much!
- Odysseus? What brings you down here in my little neck of the woods? Anyway, you should get home quick because Penelope has been loyal, your son desperately misses you, and there are multiple suitors you must deal with!
- After speaking the the crew member, the Prophet Theban showed up and told Odysseus what he needs to do in order to get back home.
- Odysseus then asked Prophet Theban how to visit his deceased mother who died of a broken heart. The prophet said that his mother needs to taste the blood of the goats to see Odysseus.
- Odysseus' mom came to him, and explained the situation back at his home.
