The larger the state and population, the more power they get over the small states. The New Jersey plan suggested that all states are equal no matter the size or population and every state gets the same amount of votes. In the end, the Great Compromise concluded of a bicameral legislature, The House of Representatives, and the Senate. These two houses evened out the playing field for both the large states, and the small states.
