I don't want you to leave and get married! When will we see each other again?
I don't want to leave you either.. But I will try and visit you as much as possible.
The charts match perfectly with this week! They can get married in some days! Congrats!
Today is the last day of Alia's senior year of high school.
Alia's friend, Evanshi, still has one more year of school left and is very sad that they won't be able to see each other as often.
The bride and groom's parents discuss their "Janam Kundlis", or birth charts, with a priest who will commence their marriage. This meeting is taking place at the bride's house, though it doesn't matter: it can be at either house or the mandir.
Today is Alia's Sangeet party. This is a type of "going-away party", in which the women in the (extended) family of the bride dance with her and sing songs; some of hopes/ dreams for the bride, her parents' pain of sending her away, or making fun of the groom.
This is Alia's fiance, Hafez. They are getting married today at this Mandap. She will be leaving her home, family, and friends and will live with her husband and his family in a different city after this point.
She is now married and in her new home in a different city where she doesn't know anyone and isn't used to her new life. She misses her old friends and her family.
