Sally has stolen her mother's car to go to work because her car would not start. She failed to ask for her mother's position before taking it.
Phyllis has now discovered that her daughter, Sally, has taken her car without asking. She was planning on going to the grocery store in addition to running some other errands.
Phyllis has now called Sally and complained that she failed to ask for her permission. She has called her inconsiderate and is disappointed.
Sally is angry that her mother is upset. She feels that her priorities come before her mother's.
Phyllis is disappointed in Sally's actions. She is upset and angry and is acting irrationally.
Phyllis realizes that it is wrong for her to be mad at her daughter over something so simple. She cannot change her, but she needs to love her even when her actions disappoint her. She has forgiven her daughter as she loves her unconditionally. Sally also apologizes to her mother as she realizes it was wrong of her to not ask for permission first.
