Hi, my name's Donna! Before the war this was me, working in the kitchen, all day while my husband was at work. Little did I know this would soon change.
MANY YEARS AGO
My husband was drafted in World War I and next thing you know I'm working at the factory. It gave me a chance to show women have strength. This was just the start.
The war was over! In 1920 me along with all the other women in the country got the right to vote. This was a very big moment for women as we finally got to output our voices. Much more was too come.
ELECTION OF 1920
Harding
Now it was the Roaring 20's! Music and entertainment were even more popular. I became a flapper! I smoked and had short hair and even wore short skirts. Women were at an all high.
Now I could have my own job, and not be a housewife. I could work as a secretary all the way to a lawyer. This was a big change for women and now we could support ourselves.
PRESENT TIMES
HILLARYCLINTON&KAMALAHARRIS
If it wasn't for those big changes we wouldn't be where we are today. That was a big change for women. Without those changes we would not have our jobs. The 1920s were such a big change for women that is still effective today.
