  • Doris was shoveling the snow in front of her house when she saw a puppy coming towards her.

  • Finally the weather cleared, so I'm taking this dog to the pound.
  • She took the puppy inside but her parents couldn't afford the dog and they waited until the weather clears to take the puppy to a pound.
  • FALLING ACTION
  • I'm so sad! Dad is taking the dog away from me. I would never have anything in my life!
  • Doris took the puppy to the basement and wished the weather would never clear so she can keep the dog. The puppy was playful and obedient.

  • You better feed that dog before it dies of starvation.

  • The weather finally cleared and Mr. Lacey took the puppy to the pound.
  • In the meantime, Doris was at her room crying because she wanted to keep the dog.
