We lived in such small communities because we needed to pick up and move quickly.
Unlike Neolithic times we never had the time to specialize in jobs.
In the Paleolithic Era hunter-gatherers never settled down to make a community.
In the Neolithic Era people could specialize in jobs so the work was divided up.
People lived in a community to have more resources.
The development of communities is important because communities brought people together to form farming and specialization.
