  • Did you hear abuot that project on researching an NGO today? it sounds so hard!
  • How do we find information online? I heard Wikipedia is a good place to find reliable information I think!
  • Wait, I thought Wikipedia was one of the websites that we should NOT find information. 
  • This is so confusing!
  • Maybe we will find out more information in school today....
  • 3. Ask yourself if the source of the information truly exists. If it does, ask yourself if it a reliable source.
  • 1. Go to the website and use a fact checker to see if the information is true.Snopes.com is a great resources to use for this.
  • 4. The last step is to compare the information you receive with other sources to ensure there is a general consensus. 
  • Some of you have been asking how to find and check if information is reliable. Here are some ways to do that!
  • 2. If it is a picture, use a reverse image search to check where the picture is originally from.
  • Now that we are in the computer lab, try checking a website for yourself. Visit ENTER WEBSITE HERE and test whether you see the sources are reliable. 
  • Following the teacher's steps, I think I can start to check more websites! to see if they are reliable!
  • I don't think Wikipedia is reliable any more. Anyone can add whatever they want there!
