  • Creation of Man
  • "Prometheus, the clever Titan, created mortal men out of clay and water"
  • Supreme Beings
  • "Zeus had led the Olympian gods in revolt against his father, Cronus, who was Lord of the Titans."
  • Animals
  • "First, he killed and skinned a huge ox. Then he cut up and seperated the rich red meat fro m the animal's white bones."
  • Prometheus, a Titan, was the creator of mankind. They were frail and helpless, but he took pride in his creations. Prometheus can been seen as a world parent, but only for the fact that he created humanity.
  • By defeating the Titans, the gods showed their power and place in the world. They are the supreme gods of earth. Supreme refers to their immense powers, like Zeus' Lightning.
  • Animal were less than humans, but were important in their own sense. Across Greeks myths and stories, animals have been sacrificed as to show honor for the Gods. Animals were a staple in Greek lie, and sacrificing such important resources would show gratitude.
