Storyboard Text

  • By a name I know not how to tell thee who I am. My name, dear saint, is hateful to myself because it is an enemy to thee. Had I it written, I would tear the word. (II. ii. 53-59).
  • Who are you, and why did you listen to my personal thoughts?
  • My ears have not yet drunk a hundred words of that tongues uttering, yet I know the sound. Art thou not Romeo, and a Montague? (II.ii.56-61).
  • Neither, fair maid, if either thee dislike. (II.ii.62-63).
  • How did you come here, and climb over the tall orchard walls?
  • With love's light wings did I o'erperch these walls, for stony limits can not hold love out, and what love can do, that dares love attempt. Therefore the kinsmen are no stop to me. (II.ii. 66-69).
  • If anyone sees you, you will be killed.
  • Well, one upset look from you would be worse then any of your relatives, even if they had weapons. If you look at me with kindness in you heart, I will be unbeatable by people who don't support us.
  • I would do anything to have you not be seen in this forbidden area.
  • The darkness of the night will hide me from being seen. But, if you don't even love me, I wouldn't mind if they found me here.  I'd rather die then live without a love as great as yours.
  • I already promised my love to you before you even mentioned this. I wish I could take back what I said, so I could tell you all over again.
  • If you promised me your love , my heart would be complete.
