hmmmm.. if the first prophecy came true, that means the rest will. I must kill Banquo and young Feance
Macbeth and Banquo visit the three witches in order to get a prophecy. Macbeth finds out that he will become king of Scotland one day. The witches also tell Macbeth that he will be the Thane of Glamis and Cowdor. They tell Banquo he will be less then Mcbeth but greater then he is now. He will not be a king but he will father kings, and he won't be happy but happier.

When Macbeth enters the castle, he sees king Duncan asleep in his bed. Macbeth then takes out a dagger and kills king Duncan. Shortly after doing so lady Macbeth acts as if she was not expecting it and pretends to fain in horror. the only problem is that Macbeth left the dagger in the room. Macbeth blames the murders on the chamberlains who were dead with bloody daggers that Macbeth killed them with.

After Macbeth notices that the first prophecy came true, he thinks they all must come true. The prophecy states that Duncan will be king but also Banquo will father kings. So Macbeth thinks that if he kills Banquo and his son Fleance he will alter the prophecy and he will remain king. but young Fleance knows that a prophecy can not be altered.
Macbeth enters the place of the withes and asks to see the prophecy again, he sees 8 kings that look like banquo. He also sees Banquos ghost at the end of the line. a crowned child tells him that he is safe until Birnam Wood moves too dunsinane. Macbeth demands to know the reason for this but the witches do a dance and disappear.
What does this mean!!!!!!!
A doctor and a gentle women discuss Lady Macbeths strange habit of sleep walking. then she walks in with a candle in her hands. She starts to talk about the murder of Macduff and Banquo. She then seems to spot blood on her hands and tries to wash it off but is unable to do so.
poor Macduff and Banquo. whats all this blood on my hands?
