The Quotient Rule of log.
So, you start with a log.
So today we will be learning about the quotient rule of log.
Do you mind? Here let me do it.
The quotient rule is essentially the rate of change.
logb (A/B) = logb (m^x/m^y)= logb (m^x-y)
I'll prove it! Let's say A=M^x , and B= M^y.Then we will just work through the process
logb (A/B) = logb (m^x/m^y) = logb (m^x-y) = x-y
Which then equals...
logb (A/B) = logb (m^x/m^y) = logb (m^x-y) = x-y = logb (m) - logb (n)
And finally we substitute it back in...
How did you know that?
