  • Myth of Romulus and Remus
  • Influence of Etruscan engineering
  • In the early development of Rome it was constructed on seven hills near the Tiber river. In Rome one water source was the Tiber river.Rome was South of Etruria.
  • Influence of  Etruscan Sports 
  • Remus and Romulus are playing near the lake that they were saved from.This is them when they were young and didn't know much, they just kept playing since they had nothing else to do.
  • Influence of Greek architecture
  • The Etruscan  arch was used in many building  in  Rome.One of the building was the Colosseum, which is where they roman could go to get entertainment. The Romans also based the Colosseum after the Greek theater, they just put two of them back to back.The Romans also used the Etruscan cuniculus to irrigate land, and make passage ways.
  •  influence of Greek writing, art, and religion
  • The Romans used two Etruscan sport which were chariot racing and slave fighting.In chariot races the racers were strapped into their chariots. If a chariot got flipped, they could be pulled under the chariot's wheels or get ran over by the horses. Chariot races often resulted in death or injury to a participant.
  • The Romans used the Greek columns in their architecture, although they did not use marble when constructing their building instead they used concrete so that there buildings would last longer. The Romans also made temples that are very similar to the Greeks.
  • The Romans use many thing from Greek culture and made it their own. One of those things is the Greek beliefs and religion, they had they same gods with different names. Another part of Greek culture that they expanded on was the art, for Greek and Roman pottery it can be hard to tell which it is from, but historians are able to find out because Roman pottery in more complex than Greek pottery.The Romans also used an adaptation of the Greek alphabet to base their alphabet on.
